Duties include:
- Assisting management with running and maintaining the property portfolio.
- Preparing specifications for major repairs and re-decorations to properties.
- Overseeing Health & Safety within the portfolio, monitoring risks through risk assessments, and ensuring timely progress within the team.
- Diagnosing property defects for major repairs and resolving building maintenance issues, including making decisions regarding remedial works.
- Preparing works schedules for building maintenance, obtaining tenders, and overseeing the works to ensure compliance with the required standards.
- Liaising with tenants and leaseholders, attending meetings related to proposed works or works in progress.
- Overseeing the performance of consultants and contractors, monitoring work progress, and attending site meetings.
- Taking appropriate action upon receiving Housing Act Notices from local authorities.
- Applying for Grant paperwork from Local Authorities and managing the process from start to finish.
- Internally liaising regarding insurance claims, providing technical advice and reports.
- Providing guidance and notices to leaseholders regarding necessary works.
